2021 Porsche 911 GT3 Clubsport

From the seventh iteration of the Porsche 911 GT3, this 2021 Clubsport Package example looks fantastic in Carrara White with the form following function discernable from all viewing angles. Equally at home on the track or on the road, the GT3 recipe has not changed, with driver involvement, track-honed handling as well as its ultimate performance, all evident in the development of this generation. Porsche has also retained a flat-six 4-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 503bhp and, as in this example, a coveted manual gearbox.

"Motorings promised land, but only for the select few. Just as brilliant as the PDK, except it's even more engaging to drive" - EVO Magazine.

The development focus by the Porsche engineers is split into three main areas; weight saving, aerodynamics and suspension. Weight saving over the previous has been achieved via the use of lightweight glass, new front wheels, a new rear fascia, a new battery and a carbon fibre bonnet. In aerodynamics, a new ‘swan neck’ rear wing and a large rear diffuser have helped improve the downforce by 50 per cent at 124mph. In addition, the wing and the front splitter are manually adjustable and, in their most aggressive setting, generate 385kg of downforce which is a 150 per cent increase over the previous model. Front suspension is now double wishbone rather than MacPherson struts which is something only seen on 911 race cars before the 992 GT3.

This example boasts the desired manual gearbox, equipped with the sought-after options of the front axle lift system, PCCB , Clubsport package, and carbon fibre bonnet. In addition, the car has a full front end paint protection film treatment, and the odometer shows just 3,140 miles.

We will leave it to Auto Express to have the last word

"We already know how sensational to drive the new 992 version of Porsche’s 911 GT3 is with a PDK dual-clutch gearbox. If anything, the manual is better still. It’s every bit as quick, yet is even more engaging to drive. On road and track – we’ve driven it on both – this car is in a league of its own.

"At the same time the throw between the shifts is short and fast, and the sense of integration between your brain, your hand, your foot and the crankshaft is unique. No other car we can think of feels so “at one” when you are going for it, and in this respect the manual GT3 has a definite edge over its PDK equivalent."
