Ferrari 308 GT4 Data

Ferrari released the Dino 308 GT4 in 1973 to replace the Dino 246 GT and GTS versions. Despite being its replacement, the 308 was very different from the 246 GT in many aspects. The 308 had a transversely mounted 2.9 litre V8 engine (commonly referred to as a 3.0L V8 due to its displacement of 2926.90 cc's) in the central rear of the car, yet it still had enough space for a 2+2 seating configuration. It had a 5-speed manual gearbox that sent power to the rear wheels. In 1975, a variant of the car was manufactured for the Italian market, which contained a detuned version of the V8 (2.0L). Production ended for both cars in 1980, and the Mondial succeeded them.
