2016 Ariel Nomad Supercharged 300

In 2015, before the likes of Dakar and Baja editions became the fashion, Ariel created its part supercar, part dune buggy; the Nomad, a car you never knew you needed. By 2016, Ariel had introduced a supercharged version that gained an extra 70 horsepower to produce 300 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. This might not sound especially outrageous, but in a car that’s less than half the weight of a Ferrari F40, it results in explosive levels of performance. It’s the perfect antidote to the somewhat oversized, heavy and sanitised cars that make up our roads today.

This particular example car has seldom been used off-road and has been run on the road wheel and tyre set for the majority of its lifetime. This is backed by the fact the off-road tyre set is the original supplied set, and in near new condition. Optioned with the sought-after Ohlins suspension upgrade, the suspension was fully refurbished by Ohlins in 2021. A new gearbox was fitted by Ariel only 200 miles ago at a cost of nearly £10,000 and is warranted by Ariel. A rare option is the ambidextrous chassis - this enables the Nomad to be swapped from RHD to LHD when required, and was utilised by a previous owner who regularly visited Italy. This was the owner who covered the majority of the cars mileage, from 1,609 miles to 16,060 miles. The car is currently set up in RHD format.

The car is supplied with the 'road/offoad' 18 inch wheel and tyres set. It also comes with the appropriate cherished registration. 

A new steering wheel will be provided in place of the current unit upon sale.
